Lynx Valley

If you are wondering if this accommodation is too good to be true, it is not! Everything about this place is incredible. This is more like having your own unique luxury boutique villa. 

We have travelled all over the world and this is our favorite place we have ever stay at! The house looks better than on the pictures and the hosts were next level welcoming. 

The location of the house is amazing. It is located in a forest, very quiet area, just ten minutes walking distance to the nearby village Crni Lug. The house is absolutely gorgeous and has been superbly renovated throughout to a very high standards. We couldn’t have asked for more. 

All in all, five out of five stars. Couldn’t recommend more highly and we can’t wait to visit again in the future.

We spent a week at Lynx Valley last summer and it was a true pleasure! The house is surrounded by the quiet of the woods and offers a perfect getaway from Dalmatia’s crowded beaches, which you can still easily reach on a day trip. The national park is beautiful with plenty of interesting places to visit. Our 7-year-old daughter loved the impressive Lokvarka cave and the walk along the pristine Kupa river. The house itself is a delightful retreat, comfortable and well-equipped, so much so that we often felt like staying in instead of going out! Having breakfast on the patio, reading books on the sofa, and relaxing in the sauna in the evenings made our stay especially tranquil and relaxing. Can’t wait to go back!

We spent a week here last summer, and it was wonderful. We enjoyed both the great comforts this house offers (among the many: extremely comfortable king-size beds, a very spacious kitchen with an island, a high-quality sound system and tv, a sauna, a great and soft sofa, an outdoor patio) and the beautiful nature surrounding it, with fantastic hikes available in the Risnjak National Park. The latest-generation electric bikes are a great way to explore both the woods and the nearby villages.

And if you come with children, I’m sure they will love the under the roof lofts that can be reached by the ladder :)

The hosts really took care of every detail in this house. They are incredibly welcoming and have created an atmosphere that makes you want to return immediately. When I think of a place to come back to and truly breathe, this is definitely one of the first that comes to mind. Enjoy it to the fullest!

Our late spring escape to the Lynx Valley was the most perfect vacation in a while. Waking up in the complete peace, having coffee while the birds sing, hiking in the amazing forests of the National Park, then relaxing in sauna, cooking the dinner in this beautiful kitchen and enjoying it on the patio during golden hour – just perfect.
